An great athmosphere
You will find Porto Heli on the tip of the north-eastern "finger" of the Peloponnese, right opposite
the island of Spetsai, 58km south-east of the ancient theater of Epidaurus.
To be reached from Athens:
- by sea : jet foil "Hellenic Seaways" and others from Pireus; approx. 2½h.
- by land : by car or taxi (140-160 Euro) via the canal of Korinth, approx. 180km from Athens airport.
To be reached from Patras where you arrive by ferryboat from Ancona (21 hrs):
- express road along the northern coast of the Peloponnese, via Corinth, Ancient Epidaurus, Kranidi, approx. 240km.
Down town Porto Heli can be reached from the house in a 20 minutes' walk along an idyllic footpath through a pine
forest along the coast. Recommendation to rent a car for shopping and excursions (rental "Alias" at reasonable prices).
